Jesus not only preached and taught the Word to the 5,000, but He also fed them when they were hungry. Preaching the Gospel and making disciples are the Churchs primary missions. However, when a nation faces poverty, hunger, ignorance, underdevelopment, disasters, and various other crises, the Church must take action. The Church must have an impact on the nation. This book recommends eight (8) steps for pastors, local churches, parachurch ministries, and Christian leaders to make a meaningful impact on the nation. These are steps to build and sharpen: (1) calling, (2) competence, (3) unity, (4) nationhood, (5) presence, (6) communication, (7) contributive work, and (8) leadership. The book also reveals that both the Church as a spiritual government and the State as a civil government are institutions of service established by God. The Apostle Paul refers to the government as Gods servant and minister (Romans 13:1–7). While the two are distinct and the state is not a religion, both must work in synergy and collaborate to build the nation together.
